PA West Soccer and iSoccer.org Announce Partnership
In its commitment to grassroots development, PA West recognizes that a focus on individual technique at a young age is key to the future of soccer in Pennsylvania, and the country as a whole. To aid in this mission, PA West has identified iSoccer as a vital partner. The San Francisco based company has developed an on-field assessment and online training platform, which helps make technical development fun, engaging and measurable.
“We are excited to start using iSoccer with our ODP teams in January, and hope all of our members will take advantage of this powerful resource,” says PA West Director of Coaching Paul Halford. “It gives coaches the ability to identify specific strengths and weaknesses and track improvement, while teaching all types of players how to get better.”
Though much of iSoccer is free, through this partnership, every ODP player and coach will have complete access to iSoccer’s premium resources, such as over 500 professional training videos for creative skills and the ability to compare scores to players around the country, even elite college players.
“PA West is leading the way in western Pennsylvania, and we look forward to a long relationship helping players around the state get better and have more fun playing soccer,” says iSoccer founder and CEO Scott Leber.
About PA West Soccer
PA West State Soccer Association has a current membership of over 60,000 youth players, 2,000 amateur adult players, 7,000 active coaches, 2,300 referees and thousands of volunteers involved in its network of over 120 local member clubs (and growing) across the western half of the state of Pennsylvania.
Founded in 2008 by Scott Leber, iSoccer is a technology company with a passion to “raise the level of the game, one player at a time.” iSoccer has taken the concept of blended learning (combining online individualized resources with traditional education systems) and applied it to sport, revolutionizing the way players interact with the game. iSoccer is the game within the game that motivates players to improve.
